how much for rims

Good evening. I found a set (4) of what appear to be stock 56 f100 steel wheels. I think they are 6 1/2" wide. No hub caps or trim rings. They don't look like they need much prep to paint or powder coat. the guy wants $200.00 and I want to pay half of that. Which one of us is wrong. Be brutally honest please. Matt

Somewhat related, for perspective. A stock F-1 16" x 4.5" sold on eBay last week for $85. Plus shipping. Stu

Yes, they are 15 inch. My initial thought a long time ago was to use the steel wheels with hub caps trim rings and wide white walls. It's my favorite old school look and I personally think the white walls tie it all together and give it that CIRCUS COMES TO TOWN LOOK. Can't believe how much the tires cost.

Hey Matt. If you can, go into your user CP and put your location in. Shows in the upper right of your posts. That helps us all know where everyone is. We might have a source in your area or when you have something else come up we will know if one of us is close.

Good advise to be sure. Not really proud of the politics of my state. Want to get out before the other states put a fence around us. I think my location update was successful.
