Not sure if this has been asked in the pass. But looking for interior colors chip for my 66 F100..want to paint my steering column..I think the color is Parchment but not sure. Could not find the info on the body plate. I have a color list but not sure what the color looks like. I know the exterior is Raccoon Red.

I know the exterior is Raccoon Red.
COLOR code J stamped on the Warranty Plate = Rangoon Red.
AFAIK, there are no interior color chips. I have the 1966 FoMoCo Passenger Car, Truck, Bronco & Econoline exterior color chip chart.
What is the BODY code stamped on the Warranty Plate?
No truck of this vintage had a Parchment painted interior, this color was used on Mustang's.
581 code indicates your truck is a standard cab and originally had a red vinyl seat. Seat upholstery color and steering wheel and color were color coordinated on '66 F 100 2WD's. Therefore, your steering column and wheel should be red also. Look for signs of a repainted wheel and column. Beware, steering columns and wheels were not color matched to the exterior color!

Thanks for the info....But I know my steering wheel & Column came with the beige looking color from the Factory...It has never been replaced or painted it's beige color..Do I have one of a kind? Did they make a mistake when the truck got put together?
Do you know the history of the truck? Could it be maybe the door has been replaced at one time along with the warrantee tag? Thus making the info on the tag wrong to that truck. Also, back than, from what ND has posted in the past, you could just about order any # of things you wanted. Try that with todays vehicles.

581: 5 = Red Crush Vinyl & Red Wicker Pattern Vinyl / 81 = 81A Standard Cab.
481: 4 = Medium Beige Crush Vinyl & Medium Beige Wicker Pattern Vinyl / 81 = 81A Standard Cab.
Compare the VIN on the registration/title with the VIN on the Warranty Plate to see if they match.
People replaced damaged left doors with used doors. 99.9% of the time, they failed to install the original Warranty Plates on the replaced doors.
If the VIN's do not match, the codes on the Warranty Plate won't be correct for your truck.

Yes I know the history very well..It was my Dad's truck..

The Vin and the Warranty number matches perfectly...
The inside of the truck is Red like you say but the steering column & wheel is like the Med Beige you stated..
