I've got an 01 f250 around 315xxx on it. I was told the tranny was replaced around 160xxx. Drove fine pulling the camper to the cabin around 90mi. Did a little work pulling brush and now it feels like the torque converters gone. Only reverse works consistently forward gears only engage for short time when revving. Any other thought's
While dragging brush, did the speed sensor get damaged on the differential? It's located above the driveshaft on the front of the differential. Also, check the wiring harness going to the tranny. Dragging brush brings to mind of running through and over brush where things could catch wiring under the truck.

If reverse works then the problem cannot be the torque converter. The converter does the exact same thing in reverse as it does in forward gears.
You have a mechanical failure inside the transmission.
