Broken side mirror glass. . .

Yeah. I'm mainly puzzled by what "pops out" and what stays. The glass itself seems to be housed in a plastic panel which is connected to the inner workngs. Does the glass pop out, or does the whole panel come out?

Oh crap. I forgot to take the pics this morning. I can do it right after I finish eating, but if you already have the outer shell off, remove the one nut from the center of the front side, and the glass and plastic backer will pull out with the adjusters and everything still attached by the ball and socket joints.

Ok, here are the pics showing two of the four release tabs for the mirror shell. You just need to push the mirror all the way to the opposite corner from the tab you're releasing, and use a thin screwdriver to trip each one. The pics are the outer tabs, upper and lower.
