We're ready to spray the paint on the bed of the '66 we're restoring but can't find detailed pictures of at two tone tailgate to see where the colors splits. Can someone post pictures of the mask line on a tailgate?
I have this picture but I can't really tell where the mask is at on the stamped ridge.

My two tone truck tailgate has not been repainted. I'll get some pics of it later tonight if someone else doesn't post some first.
See if these help at all. The area where it transitions from front to back is a bit vague on both sides. I don't think they spent a lot of time masking that area.
It was suggested that you lay the tape first and then remove the tailgate for painting. I highly, highly recommend that as I just went down this road. The actual line will be located somewhat below the accent line on the top but is more determined where the line is down the side of the bed. My line on the bed went originally right through the middle of the trim holes. You then have to make the turn around the end cap which is delicate and this was with 1/4" fine line tape

This transition area has more white paint that mine does. Mine has almost all green in the area with just the inside of the lips curving around having white. So that is the way I did mine.

That's what we did- tailgate first and mounted it to match the lines on the bedsides. The holes down the driver side are off from the factory, so we had to work around that. Its off so far that we'll have to use 3M double sided tape to attach the trim or else it'll be crooked.
