Alright I need some advice. Put a new (old) radiator in my 55 and it has sprung a leak. The leak is a result of stress caused by rapid acceleration - appears the frame or body is twisting and causing stress on radiator.
The leak is at a seam on the top inside edge and I can also see the paint has chipped on either side where the radiator mounts to the u frame.
Truck has 351W mounted with what appears to be a special frame support / motor mount.
I'll post a few pictures.
Note: I didn't use any rubber washers or bumpers when i installed the new radiator.
