I pulled a 351 out of a junk yard to put it in my truck which badly needs a new engine. one day i was working on my race car and a friend from school and his dad came by and he started looking around my garage and saw my project engine block he was telling me that it was ganna be one bad *** when it was built engine,he also mentioned it came from the factory with some power and asked how much i wanted for it and i dont want to sell it to him if there some thing special about it here the only numbers off the block he would have been able to have seen and the oil pan and thats about

I also have the Haynes TECHBOOK FORD ENGINE OVERHAUL MANUAL i cant find any thing in there that tells me whats so special about the engine
so if any body could help me it would be greatly appreciated
i know its a windsor 351 its got 6 valve cover bolts and the pistons are bored 0.3 over i just went and checked the pistons they have that stamped right on them and W351 on the sides of them
i was also wondering if that there was a egine that i could take the cranck out of to make a stroker kit for my 351 and do you know is that its a HO engine? i know it has some thign to do with were the dip stick goes and it goes in the oil pan
