Acetone and ATF mixed 50/50 makes a great penetrating oil.

Jolly Roger Joe,
Think it last was running in 1992 which would probably be 22 years ago.

Just got it running, seems to be hitting on all 8 OK but the right manifold is cracked which makes it a little noisey.

I have it running on a 12 volt coil & battery with the power to the 6 volt electrical system un-hooked to save it.

Have video & sound that I will try to post.

Oh, OK. I misread your comment about 1962 OR 22 years ago. I took it to mean 1962, which was 22 years ago.

Glad you got it running! Love to see the video!

Hope I have uploaded this file correctly as it is a movie & sound of the 52 F-6 running.
Didn't seem to work.
Can anyone help with what I should to to list the file? I think it is a MOV file.

I've had trouble with videos for over a year now.

Try uploading it to Photobucket and just copy the link into your post. That's what I've had to do.

Got the 52 F-6 running this last weekend.
Now brakes and see if it drives.

52 F-6 running
Sounds like it has a cam in it with that exhaust leak but I haven't adjusted the timing, carb. or anything just let her rip after new plugs and points were installed that were in the glove box. Still have 2 or 3 old plugs in it that are stuck that I will work on.

Not yet on the oil or the filter as it was black and full enough.
All the plugs that came out looked great with no oil build-up.

It may sit a while while I get back on my F-1 rebuilding.
