Picked up a Grand Marquis a couple of days ago.
Took the body side door seal out of it, and thought I would try to modify them to fit my 68 F 100, and save a few bucks.
To my amazement and delight as it turns out the rear door seals off the Marquis fit perfectly in the doors of the 68, the bends, angles etc right down to the floor.
The doors close like a brand new truck.
No they fit in the truck just like the fit in the car.
You do have to put them on opposite sides of the truck than they were on the Marquis. right on left, left on right.
It does leave the gap on the inside due to the Marquis have all that plastic to fit around.
I am working on the idea of how to remove just that portion, or just put a nice headliner in and bring it to fit behind the molding on the seals.
I like the sun visors out of the Marquis, so nice headliner down to the windshield, ( or close) would work well, and look nice. IMHO
I'd like to know what you mean by fit in also? Pics are always a plus to. Any real benefit to using these seals compared to factory? Besides if you have a donor car sitting there and you need new seals anyways in the truck. Better designed seal? Seal better?

I find it a lot of trouble to post pic on this site.
It was just meant to be a good tip for those who are getting the front suspension out of an 03 or younger CV body type. While you are getting the front suspension grab the rear door seal that fits the body, and save a few bucks.
If you do not find it useful then just ignore it.
I found it to be very useful, and surprising as well as saving me a few bucks.
