HELP!! Need fuel pump help

HELP!! Need fuel pump help
I need a front fuel pump for my 1996 f350 4x4 reg cab 5 spd for the midship tank, My problem is I don't know which one to order. Seems to be a few of them. Mine has 2 ports, steel, and original. How do I know if I have a 17 gallon midship or a 19 gallon midship? Is there a telltale thing here or do I just hope that the 2 port pump for 17 gallon is right and assume that the 19 gallon took a 3 port?

similar truck to yours I just replaced the front pump on my truck AIRTEX P/N E2059MN
I compared the 17 and 19 gal at the parts store and both where the same visually not sure what the differences are but the 17 was cheaper so thats what I got been running for a little over a month no problems

hmmm! that sounds interesting. Thanks for the input. I would guess the 17 gallon pump would fit either one; and the 19 gallon might be slightly longer getting it further into the tank? Like the 17 gallon pump in the 19 gallon tank would leave a little bit in the bottom, and the 19 gallon might not quite fit in the 17 gallon tank. Thanks.
