Excursion First-Aid Kit

What would you guys and gals think are parts we should cary in are X, just in case. I am on my way home from Alabama in the Texas outback ! and the X started too quit at HWY speed ever 3 to 15 miles, I would turn key on and off quickly and it was going again. I change the CPS, change fuel filter and finally unplugged the tuner and that fix it ! Not sure if it was the tuner or the connection ?.
The question is what would you not leave home without !
Bill

Not really a "part" but my multi-tool has saved my *** more than once with makeshift repairs over the years.

I always keep the multi-tool, some zip ties, and a maglite... more often than not I keep a small tool set in the back as well.

Now were talking ! , I am towing a 26' 9000 lb. car trailer with a lot of tools for our 1/4 scale race car's

I was referring more about parts like the CPS and other parts you cant get at AutoZone ! , I was 1300 miles from home when it started acting up.
"Thanks" Bill
