Door Hinge Trouble.
Received my new bushings and pins from bronco graveyard today. While taking the top hinge off the cab on the pass side, the threaded steel plate that the hinge bolts to fell down out of site. Was planning on blasting the hinges in the cabinet until this happened. Any suggestions would be very welcomed.

Not how far it can fall..never seen it happen before, but you could try to use a long flexible magnet tool to retrieve it and them if you can get it, screw a bolt in place so it doesn't fall again and then may have to tack weld it in place to get the hinge back on.

That part is meant to be (captured) attached anyway, with tabs ? or just weld the plate back on.
It the hinge that adjusts, not the backing plate.
Sounds like a yes to cutting into the cab and getting it back in place and welding from the back side.
PITA, but doable.
