c4 transmission

I was quoted 2300 including labor for my c4 rebuild on my 72 stepside. I am still paying off engine work but my transmission rebuild is scheduled for Jan. 2015. I can still drive it but shifts really hard.

$2300 to rebuild a C4??!!!

I drove a 1993 F150 4x4 with a 302 and AOD transmission for 9 years. Went hunting in Mississippi Delta gumbo mud, drove the Colorado mountains for 4 years, and plenty of interstate miles. Wish I still had that truck, and the transmission never gave even the slightest hint of any trouble. Also had an 88 and a 90 in high school (family/hunting trucks) that were just as solid.
