226 no spark
getting the truck ready for Truckstock I changed out the wire from the coil to the distributor, it was running fine, now I have no spark. I put the old wire back on and still no spark. Any suggestions?

I had a problem some time back with wire inside the distributor. The truck was running fine, dove it to an event and when I came out it wouldn't start. Had to pull it to my shop and found the wire was.bad.

Which wire from the coil to the distributor? Is this the coil to distributor cap wire (looks like a spark plug wire) or is this the wire that runs from the points to one of the threaded terminals on the coil?

It is the wire from the distributor that is a threaded connection on both ends, not the spark plug wire type. I followed Bobs instruction and it is running fine now, seems that when I tightened the wire connection I somehow shorted it to the distributor. I was able to put a piece of electrical tape between the stub bolt and the distributor housing.
Does anyone have a picture of what should actually be there?
