Discussing the Lord really doesn't bother me even though I'm not a very religious person, the graphic description of the shirt I found more offensive, but still not all that bad.
There were certainly some funny shirts back then . . . pushing moral conventions and first amendment rights The political correctness starting in the 80s sure killed that. That is about the time all of the strip-mall t-shirt iron on businesses started disappearing too.
Maybe not some, like the Twin Towers, I've never heard a joke about that, nor do I really want to, but small things after a while actually do seem funny. I know I've run into a lot of situations in my life that at the time I thought were the end of the world and I felt like I wouldn't live through them and now that I've lived through them and I'm older they are great, funny stories to tell.
Back in the late 70's when working construction framing homes a buddy gave me a shirt with a nasty looking const. worker carrying a ladder that said "Harry Hard Hat Says Go F@*^ Yourself " After work on Fri. was a mad dash to the bank & cash your check .Forgot about the shirt I had on . Some of the tellers turned red faced while others laughed . Could tell some wild stories about the good old daze building homes .
I found another sign today and thought I'd add it to this old discussion about signs.
I got this one today at the local Fleet Farm store, had it on sale, a hole dollar off while supply lasts. There were only two on the hook so I grabbed one.
Digging deep down the line of threads and came across this one, and found it funny because I actually have both the bonus build, and the decades of dominance signs hanging in the shop. I actually had both trucks on the dominance sign at the time I bought it. My bonus build sing is slightly modified though.... Bonus build with distressed wooden frame. Surprise. hidden toys behind it.
I got one of these off of ebay waaaaaaaaaaay back when I had my 2011 F150. It's my favorite garage sign. Many of these repro "tin signs" are available out there and I'm sure there no copy or trademark restrictions on what people can produce for these older designs.

Ford, like the NFL and many other organizations, would never allow an image of their logo or product be reproduced without getting compensated for it. You can bet on that.
