Shouldn't be hard at all. Just make sure and get everything from the donor vehicle. Why do you want to do it? If you are close to me I have one I would be more than happy to trade you!
You are the best brother in the world! Swap everything, springs, steering arm and all. Park them side-by-side, get out the air tools, cooler full of (insert favorite beverage here), and a few hours later you'll be done. Make sure to get an appointment at the alignment shop for the both of you, also.
I searched and not much poped up on it. And I am doing the opposite of what people whould do.
If the year models of the two trucks are on either side of the 1995 vintage (I think that year is correct) the rotors and calipers won't interchange, you'll have to swap a couple additional parts. It might help if you tell us what year models are involved, someone may be able to offer some help in this area.
I did zero research but suspect there are very few directions on how to reinstall the TTB pivot brackets back onto frame cross member. Must people cut the bolts as they are too long to be removed whole. I suspect you will have to raise the engine (watch out for the radiator fan to shroud clearance) to get bolts back in. You may want to study some pictures for which direction the bolts should poke through, how the brackets mount and to make sure all the pivots are is where the need to be.
Getting everything bolted up correctly may be a bit of a struggle on the TTB. Maybe someone that has done this can chime in, but I suspect there is a sequence that works best. I'd loosely bolt the rear of the leaf springs first, loosely make the U bolt connection at the axle half and leaf spring, get the pivot into the pivot mount, and then tighten these three connections. Making the front shackle connection last.
When I replaced my factory bushings with poly bushings I did one at a time. And needed ratchet straps to get things back to where they'd slide into their bolted location.
