Bench seat needed.....

So my 1960 F100 came with some rather horrible seats in. Driver and passenger with a fold down in the middle. Very low down , hard to drive with the seats being that low. Soooo..

I am looking for a bench seat to put back in place.

Anyone know where I can get one ? I have emailed as many places as I can find offering parts on CL in and around me in the east bay in Nor cal but if anyone has any other suggestions I'd be grateful.

Thanks in advance.

Richard

I put a '61 seat in my '57 and it fit great. Used an upholstery kit from LMC to freshen it up. That gives you 57-64 and maybe a little later to search for.

Ive heard the back seat out of a late 90's suburban will fit. Your best bet though may be is to take some measurements and head to the local salvage yards.

true but i have talked to them and like others have stated the early 53-56 and the later 61- could fit nicely. plus a couple of really nice 57-60 trucks I've seen at shows had glide seat frames. the down side they do want a pretty penny for them

the best thing to do if you want to go that route is to measure twice and give them a call, I'm not at that stage in my build of my 57 yet wish i was and when i figure out how to post pictures i will
