Arrow Now what ...

Good Day All,

Been doing something thinking lately as to what I can upgrade next for better preformance and better lower end torque. So far I have done the following:

1. Edge CTS tuner.
2. aFe 2 stage cold air intake.
3. aFe throttle body spacer.
4. Gibson exhaust.
5. Changed from 3.73 gear ratio to 4.30 to compensate for 37" tires.
6. EBC brake system.
7. Optima battery.
8. Front and rear trail ready bumpers.
9. PIAA fog and ATP lights in the front bumper. Back up lights in the rear bumper.

I know some of the above upgrades won't improve performance or torque but now I'm thinking what to do next.

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions please feel free.

I remember seeing a post a while back about headers....I think it was for the Raptor but they mentioned it should\would fit an SD.

They were pretty pricey like most all headers for anything. I have not read about or heard from anyone who has done this and reported the results.

However a big engine like the 6.2 could possible benefit from some headers.....that is of course depending on how well the factory manifolds work?????

If you got the green I say a set of headers and a super charger!

I know you did them once but 4.30 with 37s isn't enough gear for low end torque. You can get 4.30 from the factory with 33" tires. I would say a set of 4.56 or better yet 4.88 would help tremendously.

Another thing I would do would be ditch the generic sct tune and get a dyno tune.

In my experience the tb spacers actually choke the motor some so removing that may help some. I didn't notice much loss in my truck with the 5.4 but it has a nice whistle down low I like.

If you go SC or TC, you'll benefit with the headers...
