56 won't fit. Unless you change out the air vent deflectors. They have the sunken headlights vs. 53-55. I think the rest are bolt on. There is a dimple in the air deflectors for the 56 that is not in the 55.

I put a 53 grille in my 56...holes on headlight buckets are different. Spacing between the lower edge of headlight bucket and valence is also different. Biggest PITA is trying to match up the parking lights.

Buy all the stuff mentioned above (air deflectors, valance, parking lights & housings) when you buy the grill (complete with headlight buckets and trim rings). Then it's no problem. Mixing stuff is too much work.
