'56 headlight buckets

'56 headlight buckets

Does anyone know if '56 headlight buckets will mate up to a '53 grille? Or am I better off just putting the whole '56 grille into my '53?? The easier the better.

according to my book they are the same, so yes you can.

'56 headlight buckets

The headlight buckets will interchange between grills, but if you want to put a '56 grill in a '53/'55 you need the air deflectors panels ( between the radiator and the fenders that the grill bolts to ) from a '56. The headlight buckets are set in deeper in the '56 grill, so the air deflectors have a big dimple in them for clearance.
