Remove the fuel rail, pop the injector retaining clips off the rail, pull the injectors out of the trail.
Make sure all the o-rings came out with the injectors. For the new injectors, lightly oil the o-rings, and push them into the rails and put the clips on. Make sure the o-rings don't get pinched or roll.
Put some oil on the o-rings on the nozzle side, line the injectors up onto the manifold, and push them into the bores. Reinstall the fuel rail bolts afterwards.
It's not hard, just take your time so you don't pinch the o-rings.
Only special tool required are the fuel line disconnect tools and a T40 torx bit for one of the upper intake bolts. The procedure involves removing the upper intake portion by disconnecting the intake plumbing, throttle cable, and EGR tube, then remove the 6 bolts connecting the upper to the lower using the torx bit and a 1/4" drive x 6" extension to get the center passenger side bolt. Then disconnect the fuel lines with those special tools.. that will take some persuasion and maybe a little WD40, and then clean all debris and dirt from the lower intake with a vacuum and a small brush. Then remove the 4 bolts fastening the fuel rails to the lower intake and pry it off, some of the injectors may stay in the fuel rail while some or all may stick in the intake pockets. use some more WD40 to lubricate those that stick and work them out of both pieces. Then I like to get a dremmel tool with a small circular brush attached and clean out the pockets in the intake and the fuel rail, vacuum out all dust and dirt, and lubricate the O-rings on the new injectors with petrolium jelly, they should then just plug back into the intake pockets and fuel rail with a minimum of effort. With that done reconnect the fuel rails and reinstall the upper intake and everything else.
