Coolant Pressure gauge
Just got my truck back from getting a new oil and egr cooler. Warranty is up in 3 months and was curious if anybody has installed a coolant pressure gauge in the line to their degas bottle to look for abnormal pressure to indicate problems. I have read alot about which gauges to run and was wondering if this wouldn't be a good one to monitor while running down the road, especially if towing or in high boost situations.

A coolant pressure gauge can tell you when you have a problem, but I don't think it can tell you when you are about to have a problem. I'd consider it more of a diagnostic tool than something that should be monitored.
When the cooling system is building too much pressure the damage is already done.
