You're probably kidding....but you'd likely be at fault, and rightfully so. It's our responsibility to make sure all of our lights (and the rest of the vehicle for that matter) are working properly before taking it out into the public.

SUCCESS!I found where the reverse light wires come through the firewall and into the engine bay and into some sort of pigtail with a bladed wire jumper connecting both sides. Now I don't know if this was stock or simply someone's joke so I cut the sucker off and tied both ends together
Yup, that's factory. That's the plug for the back up light switch when you have a 3 spd. manual. In that case there's a dummy plug for the harness under the dash that bypasses the NSS switch assy.
