reverse lights

hey everybody...My reverse lights haven't worked in forever and I think its about time to fix them. I had initially replaced both bulbs but they still won't work. I followed the wires and they were in good shape. i'm wondering what else I could look for.thanks

Bad or out-of-adjustment reverse-light switch. Most I've seen are mounted on the transmission.

Yeah the reverse switch is located on the transmission (not exactly a "better idea") and they tend to corrode, go bad or get out of adjustment. If you check the price of a replacement you might consider a toggle switch instead. There seems to be MANY toggle switch reverse lights in operation.
