No such thing as Explorer hub caps, they're wheel covers.
Hub caps only cover the center of the wheel, wheel covers cover the entire wheel.
Explorer 15" simulated mag style wheel cover: TYPE6 - There are FOUR different versions. See your other thread on this topic for the differences.
What the OP really wants is the "insignia" (center) emblem. I clicked on 1967/79, then Wheels and Hubs. Carpenter has them on page 3 for 20 bucks each.

I'm a little confused. Explorers basically had only one wheel cover, the "mag style" that is illustrated in Bill's post as type 6.
A picture, as they say, is worth a thousand words.
If you can't figure out how to post pictures, e-mail them to me and I'll post them for you. mikeo0o0o0@aol.com

Got it. This is the standard "mag style" wheel cover.
The medallion in the middle should just say "FORD MOTOR COMPANY", it's not really Explorer specific.
So what year explorer do these caps come off of?Any one??I MEAN!! WHAT OTHER TRUCK [FORD] Do i go after on this forum bob s
All F100-150 Explorer 2WD came standard with the the mag style wheel covers although they were optional on any 1/2 ton 2WD pick up.
Earlier versions were a little different. On them the center piece was metal, not plastic.
The '72 Explorer (Bumpside) also used them, along with some Econolines.
just went and looked dennis does NOT have them, I need the EXPLORER CENTERS- in insignias. i am getting closer i think any help? bob s
Click on the link that Mike provided, then click on 1967/79, then on Wheels & Hubs.
On page 3, Carpenter has the Explorer wheel cover center emblem illustrated for 20 bucks each.
In your other thread on this topic, you said you wanted medallions that have FORD MOTOR COMPANY on them.
I posted the same fracata picture as I did in post 2, listed the applications and the differences in the FOUR different types of these covers used 1972/79.
