so, i had the fortune of my window shattering about a year ago. Seemed to blow-out, the size of a softball, for no reason. No center punch from rock..etc. With it not being my first rodeo, i decided to wait until it got worst. Well, that day came, last Thursday. head'n down the freeway and BAM, concrete truck thought i was following to close. So, it let me knew. Center-punched right under the p/s wiper. Didnt take long, for it to spread. Now, its just ask'n for me to get pulled over....Anyhow, i got the overhead 3-gauge pod. The tape it came with, is almost impossible to find. So, i went on a hunt. Found this stuff from Mc-Master for not a bad price per ft. Ordered it yesterday and should be here tomorrow. Have appt with window-man wednesday....I know it'll take time to see if this tape holds up, but thought it might help for the next fellow.....p/n 96055K43

I just used the Dual Lock hook and loop posted in that thread. I used it to re-attach my pod a few weeks ago and I have my fingers crossed it will hold up this summer when the sun heats it up. If it does, it will be the first time my pod will stay in place since I installed it back in '06.

ya, wish i could remember what the paper said on the sticky side, but that was 2+yrs ago. I've been in some hot environments, and that pod has remained stationary. Only draw back, is that it was white. So, you can see it from the outside. Stuff should be here today
