429 numbers?
Hey Fellas,
I came across a 429 today. Was wondering if this is a good one to buy or not. The heads have the numbers C8VE E and the block is numbered C9VE B. any help, like maybe what they came out of, anything, would eb great. Thanks guys.

i just got a '56 f100 w/ my dad with a 429, was wonderin where on the block you found the number. I am tryin to ID what type of 429 I have. I have the same heads as yours but dunno about the block.
