dove c heads

I have just been given a couple sets of dove c heads. and I'm trying to find out what the cc is of these heads. I have just bought a engine kit from summit and the pistons that come with the kit is supose to be 9.5:1 with 92cc combustion chamber with 30 over bore. that is about the compression ratio I would like to run. but I have read that these heads are a smaller cc witch would bump my compression ratio up over what I want to run.

Any help,Ideas or suggestions would be nice.

THANKS JEFF

DOVE heads are 75-78cc combustion chambers. If you want to keep your summit rebuild kit, you should be able to to trade the more desirable DOVEs for a set of '72-73 92cc heads. In '74, the 385 went to 96cc heads, which would drop your compression not all that much from where you want it.

What about an exchange on the pistons? Or, if they're domed pistons, you could also have a machine shop take the domes off (not expensive) and use the DOVE heads.
