Help with Valve Springs

Hello, my 429 needs new valve springs, I want to know what will work with the stock cam, will these?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2424381415

If not will someone throw some specs at me on what will? Im somewhat of a virgin with valvetrain components, but it seems like they have a lot more lift than stock, is this bad? PLEASE HELP

Thanks Guys

Help with Valve Springs

Those are racing springs. They will flatten your lobes by the end of the driveway. That is unless you are running a racing roller cam with roller lifters.

You are looking for something that is about 130 pounds or less on the seat and no more than 350 pounds open. You need to call a cam manufacturer (Crane, Comp Cams or Isky) to see what is recommended for your particular cam. Do you know what your installed hieght is? or what diameter your spring seats are? To just buy them on your own you will need to know these specs as well as your total lift.
