Im wanting to take this shifter off to paint it. I want to take this rod out of the side of the case. There was a little bolt i took out that looked like it held it in place it will pry out a bit then stops. Is it not supposed to come out. I dont want to break it ill never find this tcase again. If it dont come out how do you get these plastic bushings apart without breaking them.
