You don't need a 6 cylinder specialist to make one run. Clifford is a herd of rip off artists that sell mediocre parts for astronaumical prices and then forget about you after the sale. There are several intakes available and all the major cam companies have grinds for the 300. Most exhaust companies offer headers for the 300.

I'm also interested in aftermarket goodies for a 300 I-6 but the only show for exhaust and intakes that I've found online is Cliffords and a few in Australia(don't even wanna think about the shipping on that). Can anyone point us to other online sources?

Offenhauser makes Intakes, both dual port nd single plane(C-Series, Summit, Jegs, PAW, JC Whitney, and others carry them) Nearly all the header makers make headers(Hedmans are a nice piece, about $130 from both Summit and Jegs.) And, for cams, all of the major cam companies make 'em.
Clifford, well, I run some of their stuff in my 300, only because I got it on trade after they screwed up a buddy of mine's order so badly that he got PO'ed with it all, and let it sit in his garage for a few years, after a whole bunch of sending parts back and forth, he still only had 10 valvesprings... LOL

The best headers are the stock cast iron shortie headers that are used on EFI engines. Use a stock exhaust Y-pipe with the first cat which feeds into a single exhaust. You can knock the guts out of the first cat if required.
Get a single plane intake manifold and fabricate a plate to split it front/back. This makes it into a "dual plane" manifold like the ones used on V8 engines to preserve low end throttle response and power. Stick a 500 cfm Edelbrock carb on so that 1/2 of the carb feeds each side (front & back) of the engine.
Put in a nice RV type cam made for enhancing the low end grunt these engines are famous for. Do not try to turn them into some high rpm engine. The head configuration just does not breathe well enuf for that.
