300 six cyl motors

As I understand most believe these are hard to find! I have located 7 of them all attached to transmissions and can pick them for any who are willing to pay for them. If in california I will show you where they are! Any takers? Interest in these?

Not me, thanks. I didn't realize the 4.9l was so rare.

300 I-6 aka 4.9L was installed in 1965/96 trucks. It isn't rare...at least here in CA

But, y'all better measure the stroke to verify the engine size, cuz the 240 I-6 was standard equipment in 1965/74 F100/700's, 300 was an option.

240 shares the same block as the 300 and during this time frame was faaar more common than the 300. Besides the trucks, the 240 was standard equipment in 1965/72 Galaxie/LTD.
