leveling kit
i was wondering if anyone knew of any good leveling kits. i would like to do it on a $300 budget but i have a feeling it would be more. i figure about 2 inches. if anyone knows of anything that would be great thanks

Ok, that changes quite a bit since you have leaf spring in the front. I did a quick search on Yahoo for front add a leaf kits and there are some on Ebay that will work for your truck. Prices were $89 and up.

say with this one since its like steel plates would it be ok to just make a similar set up? from research it sounds like you could run into front end problems

Check with summit racing their mini spring leveling kits are listed as 2 1/2" but usually net a half to one inch more than that they come with u bolts and a track bar relocating bracket. There are other similar kits but others come with an adjustable track bar. in my opinion it is best to use the track bar drop bracket to keep all steering geometry correct. The adj track bar style usually exhibit bump steer as they don't correct steering geometry just center the axle under the truck. 99-04 super duty 4wd gas summit# sum-g781 $259.97......99-04 super duty diesel #sum-g782 $299.97 longer shocks not required as the lift occurs at the spring below the lower shock mount
