So, I just replaced my HPOP unhooked a few wires and plugged them back into their corresponding places.... But now my O/D light flashes the "Off" but it still functions just fine.... Also Service engine soon light has popped on I just serviced it about 1,000 miles ago and trying to figure out what is going on and yes all the fluids are all to the brim.
Aaron, can you pull the codes with a scan tool that reads your truck? I would think an HPOP change would not affect the trans. I just changed my HPOP recently as well. Its often interesting (read frustrating) when other things trip up the same time during a seemingly straightforward repair.
The ONLY way to know why the lights are on is to get the codes read. The auto parts stores CANNOT read the codes that make the OD light flash. You need either a good independent shop or a Ford dealer.
