Well I got my switch, put it in, and it solved the problems I was having. Kinda disappointed that it was a ford switch and not even 2 years old. Even swapped it back in afterward just to make sure. And with the old one in the passenger side window will not go down or up, but it will with the new one. The RR still won't go down, but that hasn't worked right for a while, still thinking motor on that one, but as for the other ones, this has taken care of it.
I'm not impressed with the Dorman switch though, still might get another Ford one if I can, but some of the buttons are sticky on it. I don't like that. Maybe it sat somewhere in some warehouse for a while or something.
Yeah sorry Glenn, nothing too profound, I just wouldn't have thought that all the power for the windows goes trough the master switch. But that makes sense now.
Hopefully a new switch cures your problems as well.
