So I hit a issue and didn’t have much luck searching, so before I go crazy throwing parts I’ll ask and hope for help.
Yesterday was going to lunch, coworker in the passenger front seat rolled window down to talk to someone. Stopped halfway, then tried rolling up. Nothing. Went to roll down, went all the way down, but no back up. Same with using drivers side switch. Figured bad motor, so got new one today from parts store. Put the new one in and same problem. Will only run in the down on the passenger switch, and then there’s nothing on the drivers switch (down or up). Could a bad drivers switch cause both sides not to work? All other windows work fine. Wiggled each wire loom on each door looking for a bad wire/splice and no luck.
I would take the switches apart and clean the terminals. My mirrors were doing the same thing and after some scotch brite and dielectric grease everything was better.
My rear passenger window will go down with the rear passenger switch, not up. I can make it go up from the drivers master switch. I took the front passenger switch and used it to try to raise the rear passenger window, but still no go. I replaced the drivers master switch as suggested here, but no change. Least I can get mine up from the drivers master switch.

The power for the window runs in series through both the driver's master switch and the passenger switch. So if there is an issue with either switch the window will not work properly. I'd start with the passenger switch since it's less complicated and expensive.
Why does everyone like throwing money at things? Have you even pulled the switches and had a look at them? You can check them with an OHM meter. Also you can pop them apart and clean the copper contacts on the inside(*edit.... Now thinking about it cant remeber if it was just buttons or a copper plate. I would still look first). All of that is free. Also you can get a friend to help you check the wires from the drivers door to the other door with the meter to see if there is a break in the wire.

I'll help him with that next week - we can pull switches from my Excursion to rule out any bad parts as well.
A thought - does the switching reverse the polarity of the power? IIRC there are just two wires that go to it and if that is the case, something has to be just reversing the polarity. If the window will power down, but not up, that would mean that there is proper power and ground and that the issue is at the switching, right?
