Got him down to $350. Promises it does not need a rebuild, slave is fine.
will get it tomorrow.
the coupling between the NP435 and the T-case, that is a direct fit to the ZF too?
TC should bolt up to the ZF. Ford used the same mounting pattern right up till the ZF6.....
$350 isn't too bad a price, if the trans is in decent condition.
You should be able to get a later hydraulic line, and hook it up to the current master, as well the slave. I would highly advise going with a new slave, since the trans has to come out to replace it......
I bought a slave cylinder from OReilly's to not chance it with the old slave, and the new one went bad. I never did anything other than push in the clutch a few times as it set a couple months. I got a warranty replacement on that one and so far it has been okay.. but I am almost sure that Autozone sells the same thing in the "Duralast" box. If you want to do some investigating you could go to NAPA/OReilly's/Autozone and ask to see the part, I bet they will all be the same. I have even heard of the ones from the dealer having the same logo on them but cannot confirm.
this is the only other style I know of and I do not know about the reliability:
