Could Use Some Help

A buddy of mine is looking at this truck, he's not new to the diesel community whatsoever, but the 6.4 is a new thing to him, and myself as well. He currently has a modded 05 6 liter, just looking for something newer and more reliable to have as his work truck. The truck that he's looking at has had the routine maintenance kept up with, and has the egr and dpf delete already done. Here's the link, don't beat around the bush because he's got check in hand. Feel free to share your thoughts and speak your mind. Thanks!

If it has been deleted then it should work fine for a work truck. Emissions stuff and city driving do not go well together.

Look at the radiator seams and make sure there are no leaks.

No pics of the engine bay, but ensure that the PO is using only the oem oil and fuel filters as always...ford gold coolant of course.

Tranny ever been serviced.

Looks like a great choice.

Great, thanks man. He's going to check it out tomorrow in the AM. I'll let you know how it goes.

Flashlight all over the engine bay to see things clearly. Any leaks should be looked at as always.

Check the oil level before startup. The dipstick is hard to read. It was made by a dipstick.

Just pull the dipstick all the way out, look at it. Wipe and stick it back in to just the bottom of the yellow handle. Pause and then pull out.

Reading will now be in the hash marks. Ideally somewhere around the center of the hash marks. That would be full. (not over full).
