I got my cab off the truck today and my mounts are gone I hammered the rubber mounts right through them. Cant find new ones to buy any where and cant seem to find a washer 3 5/8" to weld in there. any one know of a write up to fix these, buy new ones or buy washers that big?
Pics of the damage
Oh and the front left of the frame has damage from an wreck, need to find a frame going to scrap and cut that out. Or try and fix it with heat and welding.
yeah should be a real treat lol. im going out and buying a welder tomorrow to fix these thing along with a few other spots the need repaired on the chassis. now I have to figure out what to use for rubber mounts with out spending a ton of money. the front two cab mounts I was un able to separate due to rust.
Well you've got a lot of work ahead of you, but others have started with the same.
At least you'll know every nut and bolt on it.
