Was reading the latest HOTROD magazine and the showed retro autosound has a new radio called the Huntington 2. It looks exactly like the original slick radio! Their website doesn't show it available yet. Anyone know anything about it yet?

It's got pretty good reviews on Crutchfield, but I'm gun-shy after spending $325 for a Custom Autosound for my 66 Mustang. It looks great, but plays like a $99 unit. I'd be interested to hear about the quality of the Retro Sound brand.

Looks nice but not 400 dollars nice. I've always been interested in these head units they have now for older cars. But could never bring myself to spending the money for one yet. Jmf66 brings up a good point about sound quality. Never got the chance to hear one in person. curious if they sound like junk or not when cranked up. Most of my cars you can't hear yourself think so a quality system is needed.

I've put a couple of RetroSound units in Mustangs. Very happy with them. I gave away the Custom Autosound(called Custom Autocrap by some) unit that we originally put in my daughter's Mustang.
The $400 price tag is not bad when compared to the cost to convert my original radio to FM. I'm getting the truck ready for paint now so radio will have to wait. But once I buy the retro I'll let everyone know how it turns out.
