Emergency!!!
Hi, I'm looking on E-bay for a radio. I found one out of a 95 Escort and a 93 Econoline!! Theyre only $20.00 I was just wondering if these radios will hook up to the stock connections on my 1990 Bronco XLT. Also if anyone knows, can you please list the years of the radios will fit in my Bronoc and hook up correctly. Fast response if possible!!! THANKS A BUNCH!!!!!

They have very good info on swapping Ford radios. The things to watch out for are first the shape of the radio. Most of the rectanguolar radios with the 4 holes in the face will swap physically.
The next big gotcha is to make sure you get a radio that matches the sound system you have. There are essentially 3 sound systems and noen of them can interchange easily, I have found. There is the standard sound system which has 2 big flat connectors on the back of the radio and does not require a separate amplifier. I would guess these are most common on Escorts and Broncos.
Next is the premium sound system which has a bif flat connector and some small square connectors on the back of the radio. You will need the factory amplifier with this unit and the cables are obviously different.
Last, that I know of, if the JBL system which uses 2 amplifiers but I think the radio is similar to the premium.
Like I said you cannot mix and match any of these 3 systems unless you are good with sound systems and can MAKE cables.

both will work, ford used the same radio size (single DIN) from 87-97 on all f-150s, broncos, rangers, eco vans and areos. the did change the looks and same features but as long as its not a premium it should work.
