Cab swap

Hello everyone. New to this site hopefully it can help me out! I have a 2001 single cab f350 7.3. I am wondering if a f450/550 cab would fit? Also does it matter if the cab I get is gas or diesel? Thanks!

There is no difference to my knowledge between gas/diesel....FYI the VIN goes with the cab.
