On my 2009 F150, my driver seat doesn't auto set when I put my key in. It started doing this after I had it in the Ford shop for tune up and fluid changes.
Did they possibly change some type of setting? Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks
What about if you use the keypad to enter the vehicle...for some reason my truck always goes to the #2 setting which is quite annoying. Would holding it down in this fashion reset that as well?
It's funny. It holds the memory for a short time. I can take the key out and put it back in and it works fine . It's like the memory is lost after some time.

Mine will do this every so often, I usually adjust everything as I like and reset it. I've been cleaning the interior before and leaned on the seat button and caused it, or I'll grab a different key, etc.. Anyway, once everything is as I like it, I'll hold the respective seat button and that's about it. Anyway, several things can cause it to happen, it doesn't take much to inadvertently to change the presets, or at least in my experience.
My seats would "forget" the programmed settings after a few weeks, and I knew we did not accidentally adjust the 1-2 buttons.
First trip to the dealer, they cleaned all the connections---same problem.
Second trip to the dealer, I made them change the module under the seat that retains the seat/mirror/power pedal info. It has been stable ever since.
If you have warranty, insist they change your module.
