Hopped into my truck last night after unlocking with the key fob, the easy exit is turned off, and the drivers seat was rolled all the way back and lowered. Mirror might have been off its mark too. Seat back was fine, not reclined. Anybody have the seat change position like this? Never happened before or after, software? Bumped stuck adjustment switch, other???? Doubt anybody had a key on the same frequency and did it for fun as my laptop was in plain view and not stolen...
Some of the upper end trucks have memory seat and mirror settings. On these trucks there should also be a setting in your productivity screen for "assisted entry/exit" where it will scoot the seat back for you to help with ingress/egress.
Maybe someone with these features can help you determine if this is a feature you have or not.
I have all of that high end stuff as it is a loaded Fx4, but the exit assist was in the off position. I have the memory keys set up but they should not work if it is off. still scratchin my head
So your are suggesting a break in, seat adjustment, not stealing anything, and then locking the door on their way out? if not, involve clergy?
Probably more likely that I did something weird when I locked the unit via the remote. Very curious what went south so I don't do it again.
There is nothing you can do via the remote that would adjust the seats. I would be inclined to agree with j.grif that you hit the seat button on your way out. The clergy comment was a joke.
I must stand corrected, in that there are no memory buttons for the seats, if I remember correctly, the memory goes off of the individual keys and is programmed with the information center, I will look this up in my owners manual and report back, my apologies!

Then explain to me why the mirrors and seats move on my 05 Expedition differently when I use my key fob versus my wife's???? Did they do away with this on newer trucks or is my truck possessed????? Every time my wife unlocks the Expedition with the key fob the seat is jammed against the steering wheel and rather unconvenient for a taller guy.

Like Tim said above each key can be programmed to adjust things for different drivers. Clear that memory and I bet it stops.
I have had this occasionally....by opening the door but not getting in and instead reaching across the seat to get something out of the console....you inadvertently lean against the seat position buttons and screw up the settings.

even if it is turned off in the display? Sounds like a problem then... will mention to the stealer next time I am in. Only 9000 miles on it, lots of warranty left.
