Mysterious Plug

I just purchased a 2007 F150 and when I was cleaning it up when I noticed a plug hanging under the steering column. Maybe someone here can tell me what it is. Thanks

You also need to add the fuse and relay after adding the brake controller

my brake controller recommended an additional pigtail(prewired) that made it plug and play. I didn't have to add fuse or anything and no splicing or wiring, just plug and play. I got mine at Autozone(Impulse) and then right beside the controllers there were the wiring adapters that made them plug and play, just by the right one. Easy as pie.
