Thanks for the reply. I bought the truck this past Nov. and everything worked...I did recently do a DSII Swap (removed computer, etc). I also recently went to turn the A/C on and the vents weren't blowing ANY air out (I can hear the blower).
Yes , ck all vac connections . I do think you should have airflow somewhere even with no vac ! Best of luck ! Let us know what you find please ! It may help someone else down the road !

No airflow, I can just hear my blower motor running. I don't even see any vacuum connections...I'm guessing I'm going to have to pull the control panel out
The default vent position when there isn't any vacuum (in trucks with factory-installed A/C) is DEFROST. Without factory A/C, everything is cable-operated.
I'm betting when you did the DSII swap you disconnected the vacuum supply into the cab.

Yes, that's my thought. How do I reconnect the vacuum supply to the cab?? Tks!!
There's a distribution thinger screwed to the firewall on the passenger side, the main vacuum supply comes from the manifold, hook that back up.
Assuming, of course, this is your problem - you need to verify the cause of the problem before throwing solutions at it....
It was working before I did the DSII. Where bouts on the firewall? Where on the manifold does it hook-up...the vacuum deal on the valve cover?? Do you happen to have a diagram??
I'm at work and don't have any of that stuff here, maybe somebody else can post pictures.
There is at least one and oftentimes two vacuum reservoirs involved (one looks like a fruit-juice can, the other like a softball) and a check valve, this supplies vacuum during periods of low vacuum by the engine.
Did you remove a whole bunch of vacuum lines and assorted "stuff" when you did your DS2 swap? If so, put them back....

I don't have the fruit can style vacuum part on my truck. I wont have a chance to really go over my truck until the weekend...if anyone has pics, vacuum diagrams, etc...please post them. Tks!!
If all of the posted suggestions don't work then there could be a broken door hinge inside the hvac unit that diverts air and is operated by a vacuum servo. I had basically the same problem a while back, no a/c or heat from the dash vents, I found a broken hinge on one of the diverter doors inside. I had to remove the glove box and remove the access panel, reached inside as far as I could and could feel the door flopping around and obviously broken, grabbed it and gave it yank and out it came. The only difference in operation now is cold/heat comes out the vents full time regardless of where the lever is selected but at least it works and works pretty good too.
