Fuel issue

Hey guys I was driving uphill and my truck needed more fuel so I have her more gas then the check engine light came on started chugging sputtering intake backfire pulled over and immediately dies mess with it for a little bit had a spare fuel filter put it on started but couldn't idle disconnected fuel line hose hooked back up ran fine... Today hard strt intake backfire when giving it gas while driving but not at park and lots of shaking and chugging at 80mph

You need to check the codes in CM.
But sounds like you have a lack of fuel pressure.
You may want to put a fuel pressure gauge on it and drive it to see what the fuel pressure is as you drive it. Should range between 30-32psi at idle and 40psi at WOT.

Okay here's the codes I think it's putting 21, 117, 22

It looks that way. You will only have 2 or 3 digit codes, not both.

K it's 3 digit codes put a reader to it and it's all bs codes nothing to wory bout however I do have excessive blow by pops my dipstick out a little and blows white smoke out the breather hose throttle responsive any ideas?
New Rhs heads
Larger cam
Edelbrock intake
Exhaust leak at header collector I need to fix as well

Ya I'll do it this weekend after seeing the blow by its looking like I blew a ring or head gasket I'll keep ya informed

Hello! Did you ever figure out the issue? My truck (1992) dies while driving uphill for the first time last week when I was driving. Once I got her to the flats, she ran OK, but the slightest hill would make her sputter. Thanks!
