I had a profitable morning today on some stuff I had on craigslist this morning. And so with some fresh cash, and my new CCW in hand my son Tim and I made it out to the gun and knife show that was in town.
We seen James out there and had a nice visit, and I was able to pick on his head about a 9mm that I was looking at, and after James telling me more about that brand (EA/Tanfoglio). I've pretty much been out of the gun scene for a few years, and have not heard of that brand.
After getting home I've learned a lot more about that particular model "Witness-P" it's a pretty sweet weapon. The "P" is polymer and excepts a few different barrel kits
, so I can turn it into a .22LR for $175
.
I did get some ammo for the new toy, and completely forgot about the .22, and the .45 that I have at the house
. My back was bumming and now I'm out to get a nice holster for the 9mm tomorrow.
If y'all read all of this, you insane for sticking with me this long.....

Yes Clint, and I forgot all about the .22LR that I have at the house. If it didn't cost $9 to get in, I'd go get some tomorrow.

I'm gonna have to drop some coin on another small pistol for my wife.
I've got a couple rifles an shot guns but only have 2 pistols. A lcp and a .357 S&W. Now you've got me wanting to go take a few pics. However I don't feel like opening the gun safe back up haha.

Back to Gander Mountain this morning to return a holster I got yesterday.
A nice tan leather Bianchi side holster, the way I'm built it just rubs me wrong (Literally). I'll return it this morning, and hit some gun shops for other carry ideas. Maybe in the back waist line? That's where I'm not the thickest

I've thought about the IWB holster. But I'd have to go buy new pants. My jeans have enough room in them for me, and that's about it. I've been all over town today looking and haven't had any luck. Mostly because nobody carries a holster that fits correctly, but I'm leaning towards a nice leather holster.

Bob, you may have to order stuff for the witness online. There are a few sites that carry accessories specific to your model.

Out doing some errands, and I did get my holster ordered. Black leather with a paddle, hand made for $60
. It's about a three week wait, that I'm not wild about, but I can't find one on a shelf that is formed to fit.
