I have this puller kit from Harbor Freight and have used it to pull my wheel. I found it works best if you turn it upside down... the holes seem to line up better.

Also, I had to tap one of the holes as someone had forced the wrong thread bolt into one side.

I took the bolts to Home Depot and matched the threads to use with my harmonic balancer puller. Later I got the HFT steering wheel puller kit and it has the right size bolts.
