It's actually really easy. You don't even NEED a steering wheel puller if you are strong!
First turn your steering wheel so your 2 front tires are facing straight.
Take the middle cover off the front via 2 screws on the back.
There is a big nut underneath that cover that you will need to take off. Loosen it about two full turns.
Now you need a friend for this unless you are strong. Get under the steering wheel with both your arms/legs and bang on the center stud (where the big nut is) with a hammer. It may take a few sharp blows but it will come off.

P.S. That nut I told you to just loosen and not take off, will prevent the steering wheel from flying off in your face when it finally breaks loose.
